1960s Land Rover Series IIA 109 Station Wagon Restomod

This Land Rover 109 Station Wagon restomod was started by another shop, but not finished. The vehicle owner picked up where the shop left off, but needed some help — that’s where we came in. When the Land Rover got here, there was still plenty left to do and figure out. Our part of the project is now complete and the truck’s owner is happy to have it home.

Work performed on this series Land Rover included (but was not limited to):

  • Complete wiring from front to back, including custom-wiring the Mercedes diesel engine
  • Fitted and adjusted fenders
  • Adjusted panel gaps and other final adjustments
  • Installed middle door window tracks, glass, and latches
  • Corrected improperly installed rear window tracks and latches
  • Installed factory seatbelt brackets and front and rear seatbelts
  • Repaired winch solenoid pack and installed rope
  • Shortened the front driveshaft, which was too long
  • Replaced faulty alternator and brake master cylinder
  • Installed many parts that were not installed yet
  • Fixed oil leaks
  • Various other final finishing touches
